A state-of-the-art Humidity Chamber is used to conduct test as per ASTM G60.
SCC Testing can be done in accordance with ASTM G38, G44, G47, G49.
WMT&R has the flexibility and experience to test a large number of specimen types including, but not limited to SCC, Live-Load, and Electronic Devices. 21 Frames with the capacity of loading up to 2100 constant strain specimens ensures the agility and speed to get your job into testing without delay.
The ASTM B117 Salt Spray Test
is used to determine normal corrosion resistance to ocean water type environments. The Harshaw Environmental Test Unit is utilized for modified salt spray and copper-accelerated salt spray testing (ASTM G85
and ASTM B368
). The ASTM B368 (CASS Test)
is widely used to evaluate aggravated conditions such as road salt on automotive parts.
At WMT&R we also test the susceptibility to intergranular corrosion in wrought, nickel rich, chromium bearing, and stainless steels using ASTM methods G28 and A262. Pitting and crevice corrosion (ASTM G48) and ASTM G67 (NAMLT Test), ASTM G34 Corrosive Exfoliation, and G66 ASSET are among the other corrosion tests that are performed.
